Chamin Ajjan, LICSW, A-CBT, CST discusses ways to help clients with social anxiety navigate dating. She breaks down the dating process into four distinct stages, and she explores anxiety triggers and treatment targets for each stage. Chamin’s presentation incorporates education and research with interactive techniques to support clients in session as they navigate dating with social anxiety.
Chamin Ajjan, LCSW, A-CBT, CST is the CEO and Clinical Director of Chamin Ajjan Psychotherapy, the Brooklyn Regional Clinic of the National Social Anxiety Center. She is a certified Diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies, an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, and a Board member of the National Social Anxiety Center (NSAC). She has expertise in a number of areas, including: social anxiety, sexual dysfunction, relationships, self-care, and trauma. In addition to her clinical practice, Chamin is also a graduate school instructor of CBT courses at Boston University School of Social Work, an expert reviewer at MindBodyGreen, and the author of the award winning book Seeking Soulmate: Ditch The Dating Game and Find Real Connection.
